West Virginia airport names new director
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) — Jonathan Vrabel has been hired as director of the Morgantown Municipal Airport in West Virginia.
The city of Morgantown announced Vrabel’s hiring in a news release Thursday. He was selected from a pool of 42 candidates.
Vrabel replaces Mick Galusky, who retired earlier this year.
Vrabel most recently was senior vice president at the Capital Region International Airport in Lansing, Michigan. He also has held positions with the Cleveland Hopkins International Airport and Dayton International Airport in Ohio and Albany County Airport in New York.
Vrabel says he looks forward to improving services at the Morgantown airport and making it “a first-class facility for private and commercial customers.”
