PONTIAC, Mich. (AP) _ The Detroit Lions have reactivated guard Chris Dieterich, who missed seven games this season after dislocating a knee cap on Sept. 22, the National Football League club said Saturday.

The 6-foot-3, 260-pound Dieterich, a six-year veteran of the Lions, had been on injured reserve since suffering the injury in a game against Indianapolis. The North Carolina State product, who started the Lions' first three games of the season, is expected to play Sunday against Minnesota.

To make room on the roster for Dieterich, the club also waived guard-center Larry Lee, a 6-2, 185-pound product of UCLA. The fifth-year pro played in six games for the Lions this season and started four contests.
