Mother of suspects in Randle teen’s death pleads guilty
CHEHALIS, Wash. (AP) — The mother of two suspects charged in the death of a 16-year-old Washington state boy has pleaded guilty to two counts of rendering criminal assistance.
KOMO-TV reports 43-year-old Kindra Adamson changed her plea from not guilty on Friday related to the death of Ben Eastman III of Randle.
Lewis County prosecutors say Adamson delayed the investigation into Eastman’s death while her 21-year-old and 16-year-old sons fled.
Jonathan Adamson and his brother are charged with murder, rape, tampering with physical evidence and unlawful disposal of remains. Jonathan Adamson has pleaded not guilty to the crimes.
Eastman was reported missing June 27 and his body was found the next day in a shallow grave on property owned by Adamson’s relatives.
