Drug possession, breaking and entering, among Sheriff’s reports

IRONTON — The following information was compiled from Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office reports:

DRUG POSSESSION: A 15-year-old South Point High School student admitted bringing prescription medication to school to sell, but a teacher took him to the office before he could sell anything. The student was transported to the Lawrence county Detention Center.

SEXUAL BATTERY: A 17-year-old Chesapeake High School student admitted having sex with a volunteer with the Chesapeake High School band. The 22-year-old volunteer was banned from any further volunteer work and was ordered to stay away from school property.

DRUG POSSESSION: Following a traffic stop, a sheriff’s deputy arrested Pamela J. Criswell, 38, of Lake Bonita Road, Catlettsburg, Kentucky, on charges of possession of heroin and possession of drugs (meth) and transported her to jail.

DRUG POSSESSION: Following a traffic stop, a sheriff’s deputy arrested Tonya M. Hardy, 30, of County Road 124, Chesapeake, on a charge of possession of drugs and transported her to jail.

BREAKING AND ENTERING: A 52-year-old South Webster, Ohio, area man reported last week that someone stole a motorcycle, a riding lawn mower, a sweeper, a log splitter, tools, baby toys, a coffee maker, a toaster oven and a microwave. The items were valued at $9,705.

FIREARM THEFT: A 52-year-old Scottown area man reported last week that someone stole a handgun valued at $450 from his home.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: A 29-year-old Chesapeake area woman reported last week that her boyfriend shoved her and pulled her through the house before he hit her in the back of the head and shoved her into a trash can.
