ABC Names Wall Street Journal’s Michel McQueen to Magazine Show
NEW YORK (AP) _ Michel McQueen, a Washington-based reporter for The Wall Street Journal, has been named a correspondent for the ABC’s news magazine show debuting next year, said ABC News President Roone Arledge.
Ms. McQueen covered state and local politics for The Washington Post from 1980 until 1987, when she joined The Wall Street Journal. She has been the paper’s White House correspondent.
Her broadcasting experience includes reporting on ″Running with Jesse,″ a ″Frontline″ documentary on Jesse Jackson’s 1988 presidential campaign, and she is a frequent panelist on PBS’ ″Washington Week in Review.″
Ms. McQueen joins correspondents Sheila MacVicar and John Hockenberry and anchor Forrest Sawyer on the as-yet unnamed broadcast, Arledge said Friday.
