FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) — IOWA ST. (2-9, 0-8 Big 12) at No. 4 TCU (10-1, 7-1, No. 3 CFP), noon (ABC)

Line: TCU by 34.

Series Record: TCU leads 4-1.

WHAT'S AT STAKE

For TCU, its first Big 12 title and very possibly a spot in the new four-team College Football Playoff. The Horned Frogs are assured a share of the Big 12 championship with Baylor or Kansas State with a win. There is no such guarantee for the playoff, but they are third in the latest CFP rankings and likely would stay in the top four if they get the expected lopsided victory. Iowa State, with a five-game losing streak, last went winless in Big 12 play in 2008.

KEY MATCHUP

Iowa State QB Sam Richardson against TCU defense. If the Cyclones have any chance of an upset, Richardson has to have a good game. He has TD passes in nine consecutive games, one short of tying the school record, and needs nine completions and two TD passes to equal single-season school records (247 completions, 20 TDs). The Frogs have an interception and a sack in 13 consecutive games, the nation's longest streak.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Iowa St: Center Tom Farniok, a senior co-captain, is scheduled to make his 47th career start, third most among active Big 12 players.

TCU: Linebacker Paul Dawson is the only player in the nation, and the first in the Big 12 since 2000, with at least 100 tackles (115), five sacks and four interceptions in the same season.
