Cupid’s Chase Coming To Kirby Park

Cupid’s Chase, a certified 5K walk run, will be held at Kirby Park, 160 Market St., Wilkes-Barre, on Saturday, Feb. 9. Registration is at 8 a.m. Race begins at 10. The event is held each year by Community Options Inc. to raise awareness and funding for the individuals they care for. Community Options Inc., is a nationally based nonprofit 501(c)(3) certified) organization incorporated in 1989 with local operations based in Drums. Community Options provides housing and employment opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities and developmental disabilities. Dallas Lodge No. 531 contributed $200 to support the effort. Each month, Lodge 531 features presentations to educate and entertain regarding Freemasonry, with some open to the public.
