1 killed, 6 injured in Phoenix crash, fire department says
PHOENIX (AP) — The Phoenix Fire Department says one person died, three people are in critical condition and three other people are in serious condition after an accident on the city’s south side.
The department says that the person, whose identity was not released, died at the scene of the three-vehicle crash about 8 p.m. Sunday at 3434 S. 67th Ave.
Capt. Rob McDade says that a six-month-old boy, a 20-year-old woman and a 31-year-old man were taken to hospitals in critical condition. McDade says the other three victims — a 17-year-old girl and two women — were brought to hospitals with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
