MINNEAPOLIS (AP) _ Minnesota Twins third baseman Corey Koskie left the eighth inning of Tuesday night's game against Kansas City after pulling his right hamstring while sliding into second base.

Koskie advanced from first to second as Torii Hunter grounded out. Trainer Jim Kahmann attended to Koskie, who walked off the field on his own power after lying on the ground in pain for a few minutes. He was replaced by pinch-runner Denny Hocking.

The Twins have three regulars _ designated hitter David Ortiz, second baseman Luis Rivas and starting pitcher Joe Mays _ on the disabled list.
