Voters voice approval of school budget increase in Andover
ANDOVER, N.H. (AP) — Voters in a New Hampshire town have given swift approval to a school budget that saw an increase of about 3 percent from last year.
Andover School Board Chairman Dean Barker presented the $5.6 million operating budget Monday night, and it includes a slight increase in special education funding. The Concord Monitor reports voters had no questions or issues about the budget Monday night.
The operating budget was the only item on the district’s agenda aside from procedural requirements.
Ballot voting will be held on Mach 12 and there are no contested races for seats on the school board.
