Man shot by police in Northeast Philly
An unidentified man police said was armed with a gun was shot by an officer Tuesday night in Northeast Philadelphia.
The shooting happened just before 7:15 p.m. outside in the 8700 block of Crispin Street, police said. An officer fired one shot at the man, striking him in the abdomen. Police took the man to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital. His condition was not immediately available. No police officers were injured.
