_ Alonzo Mourning, Heat, had a season-high 21 points and nine rebounds before fouling out of Miami’s 104-87 Game 2 victory over New Jersey.

_ Chauncey Billups, Pistons, had 20 points, eight assists and six rebounds as Detroit took a 2-0 series lead with a 106-85 win against Philadelphia.

_ Ray Allen, SuperSonics, scored 26 points to help Seattle defeat Sacramento 105-93 and take a 2-0 series advantage.


Allen Iverson (19) and Chris Webber (15) combined for just 34 points in Philadelphia’s second straight loss to Detroit, a 106-85 setback Tuesday night. They scored 57 points in Game 1 Saturday.


New Jersey center Nenad Krstic scored 27 points in Tuesday night’s 104-87 loss to Miami, the Nets’ second straight in the series.


Sacramento lost to Seattle 105-93 Tuesday night and trails 2-0 in a playoff series for the first time since being swept by the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2001 Western Conference semifinals.
