3rd man charged related to shooting
RUTLAND, Vt. (AP) — A third man has been arraigned on charges related to a shooting in West Rutland, Vermont.
The Rutland Herald reports Scott Blowers pleaded not guilty Thursday to attempted assault and robbery with a weapon. He was ordered held without bail.
No one was hurt in the April 26 shooting.
On Monday, Christopher Hale pleaded not guilty to attempted murder and attempted assault and robbery and Joshua Stone pleaded not guilty to attempted assault and robbery.
Court papers say a witness said Stone had allegedly gone to an apartment to sell marijuana when he said he was robbed at gunpoint. Court papers say Stone and Hale returned later Friday and Hale allegedly shot at the building. Police said they believed Blowers gave Hale the handgun.
