Women’s Only Weekend will begin on Friday

November 16, 2018

The fifth annual Women’s Only Weekend runs Friday though Sunday all throughout Watertown. This special shopping and dining weekend kicks off Friday evening with swag bag pick up at Lyons Irish Pub from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Swag bags will be available to the first 350 participants who register in person that evening. A modest fee of $3 is being charged for each swag bag this year to offset the cost of the event and raise funds for downtown beautification projects. Cash payment for the swag bags is preferred.

The swag bags are filled with goodies from local retailers, a special coupon book, $10 in Ladies Loot, raffle tickets and other surprises.

Saturday’s festivities include shopping and dining using Ladies Loot at participating locations. Merchants will also be offering exclusive discounts, specials and giveaways. Windwood of Watertown will host the WOW Ladies Night Celebration on Saturday evening featuring drink specials and raffle drawings for over 25 prizes. In addition, there will be Boutique Bingo and ladies can “spin the wheel” for a chance to win a $350 WOW Shopping Spree. Attendees will also have the opportunity to shop the gently used handbag and purse galleria. Proceeds from the sale of all handbags and purses will be used to purchase flowers for Main Street in spring.

The weekend concludes with the Turner Hall Craft Fair, a long-standing Watertown tradition.

This year’s participating businesses include: 2 Rivers Bicycle & Outdoor, Berres Brothers Coffee Roasters, Bismarck’s Main Street Bar & Grill, Blush Hair Beautique, Breathe Salt & Sauna, Bradow Jewelers, Brown’s Shoe Fit Co., Central Block Kitchen & Designs, Draeger’s Floral, Elite MarketSpace, Far Horizons Imports, Keck Furniture, Lyons Irish Pub, Pidder Padder Paws, Sandra D’s Bridal Boutique, Sweet Talkin’ Treats, The Bed Barn, The Chic Boutique, The Closet Hanger, The Loft Beauty & Wellness, The Oasis Salon & Spa, Watertown Blue Revue, Watertown Hometown Pharmacy, Watertown Public Library, Watertown Turner Hall and Windwood of Watertown.
