According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:
An Aiken woman called police Sunday claiming her ex-husband broke into her Weyanoke Court residence and left a $5,000 check inside for their daughter’s college fund. The woman said she and her daughter found their dog chewing on the check and then determined the suspect must have broke in while no one was home.
An Aiken woman reported Sunday a Windsor woman assaulted her in the front yard of her New Bridge Road home.
A North Augusta woman called police Sunday claiming her ex-boyfriend was sending threatening messages to her at her Northside Drive residence.
A Batesburg woman reported Sunday an unknown man stole her vehicle parked outside a gas station on Old 96 Indian Trail. The victim said she left the car running and unlocked while running into the store, and while inside she witnessed the suspect, who was standing outside, get into her car and take off toward the interstate.
A 45-year-old Graniteville man called police Sunday claiming someone “destroyed” his mailbox outside his Chalk Bed Road home.

Officers charged a man Friday with driving under the influence after he was pulled over on Richland Avenue in downtown Aiken.
An Aiken woman was charged Friday with driving under the influence, trafficking heroin, unlawful carrying of a pistol, possession of a weapon during commission of violent crime and distribution of a controlled substance within proximity of a school after she was involved in a single-vehicle collision on Richland Avenue in Aiken. Officers found her unconscious inside the wrecked car and then searched the vehicle after EMS pulled her from it, finding drugs, a bottle of open liquor and weapons.
An 83-year-old Aiken woman called police Friday claiming a man who lives with her and her granddaughter on Whiskey Road fraudulently cashed three checks from her bank account without permission. The suspect cashed checks totaling nearly $1,000 from her account.
A 37-year-old Aiken man reported Friday someone broke a window at his residence on Aldrich Street.
A 37-year-old Aiken woman called police Friday claiming her ex-husband was sending her threatening emails to her at her Kemper Downs Drive apartment and her place of employment.
Officers charged a homeless man Friday with disorderly conduct and brown bagging after he was seen changing clothes in some bushes next to a restaurant on University Parkway in Aiken. Police found the suspect drinking alcohol next to a garbage dumpster and he started using profanity in public.
A man was charged Saturday with simple possession of marijuana after he was pulled over and searched on Richland Avenue.
A 52-year-old Aiken man reported Saturday someone stole his bicycle parked outside his Palm Drive residence.
Officers charged a man Saturday with possession of meth after he was searched on Richland Avenue in Aiken.
A man was charged Saturday with third-degree assault and battery and failure to comply after his brother told officers he assaulted him by striking him in the back of the head with a closed fist on Congress Drive in Aiken.
Officers charged a woman Monday morning with driving under the influence after she was pulled over on Vanderbilt Drive in Aiken.
