DA: 2 dead, 1 hurt in triple stabbing, teen under arrest
NORTH ATTLEBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) — A 19-year-old Massachusetts man has been held without bail in a stabbing that left two dead and one seriously injured.
Daniel Randall, of North Attleborough, faces murder and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon charges. He was arraigned in Attleboro District Court on Friday. He’s due back in court Oct. 8.
The Bristol District Attorney’s office says the stabbing happened Thursday night at Randall’s home in North Attleborough.
Investigators say 21-year-old Aidan Hanrahan was pronounced dead at the scene and 21-year-old Joshua Lemken died after being taken to Rhode Island Hospital. The third victim is hospitalized in serious, but stable, condition.
Randall told police he’d been jumped and defended himself. Investigators say the men had been friends and it had been Hanrahan’s 21st birthday.
