LC Can’t Pull Off the Upset

Despite 16 points from junior Emily Bartlett, the Lowell Catholic girls basketball team fell to undefeated Mystic Valley, 52-42, on Sunday.

Two Westford Academy boys and one relay team finished in the top eight at the Freshmen-Sophomore Large School meet at the Reggie Lewis Center.

David Urban finished fourth in the high jump with a leap of 5 feet, 10 inches.

The 4x400 relay team of Connor Fitzgerald, Luke Heitkamp, Muhammed Warde and William Zeng ran to fifth in 3:46.25.

Fitzgerald placed sixth in the 1,000 in 2:44.99 for the Grey Ghosts.
