NEPSAC CLASS C VOLLEYBALL PAIRINGS

The King School girls volleyball team was selected as the No. 1 seed Sunday for the 2018 New England Prep School Athletic Council (NEPSAC) Class C playoffs.

King will be vying for its fourth NEPSAC Class C title in five years. The Vikings will host No. 8 seed and FAA rival St. Luke’s in Wednesday’s quarterfinals at a time to be announced.

King (14-2 overall) just captured its fifth consecutive Fairchester Athletic Association Tournament title last Friday by winning at Hopkins School.

Greens Farms Academy qualified as the No. 3 seed in NEPSAC Class C. GFA will host No. 6 seed Miss Hall’s in Wednesday’s quarterfinals.

The semifinals are set for Saturday Nov. 17 with the NEPSAC Class C final at King School on Sunday Nov. 18.

Winchendon (Mass.), the last team to defeat King in NEPSAC Class C playoff action, is the No. 2 seed. Wooster is the No. 4 seed. MacDuffie School, which hosted and lost to King in the 2017 NEPSAC Class C title match, is the No. 5 seed. Chapel Hill is the No. 7 seed.
