Hootie & the Blowfish to perform at SRP Park in North Augusta during Masters week
CSRA Fans of Hootie & the Blowfish will get a chance to see the band perform even if they didn’t get tickets to one of the bands Group Therapy Tour dates in Columbia.
The band will headline Augusta at Night – a new music, food and golf experience taking place April 12 at SRP Park in North Augusta, celebrating the first golf major of the season.
This will be the first time the band will play a public concert in 12 years.
The Group Therapy Tour is the band’s first full-time tour since 2007 and is scheduled to begin in Virginia on May 30th. The three Columbia dates are Sept. 11-13.
The band has reunited annually for a variety of philanthropic events while also pursuing solo projects.
The event, which Turner Sports and Endeavor hopes will become an annual tradition, will feature a number of unique experiences for ticketed attendees and invited guests, including a celebrity food showcase featuring Fuku by David Chang’s Momofuku Group and custom golf experiences by Golfweek.
Capital One, the title sponsor of Augusta at Night, is offering an exclusive 48-hour window for Capital One cardholders to have the first opportunity to purchase tickets to the concert with a pre-sale starting at 10 a.m. on Friday through 10 p.m. Sunday. General admission tickets will go on sale on March 11 at 10 a.m.
“We’re excited to create a brand new premium entertainment destination to complement the exclusive experience of watching golf in Augusta,” said Matt Hong, chief operating officer of Turner Sports. “Fans will be able to enjoy amazing culinary dishes and participate in interactive golf areas, capped off with performance by the iconic Hootie & the Blowfish.
