Stamford PD looking to ID church larceny suspect

STAMFORD — Stamford police are looking to the public for help.

City police released surveillance footage on Saturday that shows the suspect in repeated larcenies from St. John’s Episcopal Church at 628 Main St.

They say the man was caught on surveillance camera stealing items from the Main Street church on May 15. The department said he was likely involved in previous larcenies at the same church.

Police said no one should approach the suspect if they see him in person; instead, they should call the police department.

Anyone with information can leave an anonymous tip for Stamford police at 203-977-4407. Tips can also be sent in via Facebook message.
