Phoenix homeowner allegedly shoots a man on his property
PHOENIX (AP) — Police in Phoenix say a suspect has been arrested for allegedly shooting a man who was on his property.
They say 48-year-old Christopher Wingo is being held on suspicion of aggravated assault and an unrelated manslaughter charge from a different incident.
They say Wingo got into an argument with the 56-year-old victim after removing him and others from his property around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Police say Wingo allegedly pointed a gun at the victim and followed him while police were being called.
The man reportedly turned and charged at Wingo before being shot.
The victim was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and is in extremely critical condition.
Police haven’t released his name.
