Brogna Top Vote Getter For Dems In Crestwood Contest

Voters in the Crestwood School District were tasked with picking five people from a field of 11 candidates. At 10:42 p.m. with 90% of the results reported to Luzerne County Election Bureau, the top five vote-getters on the Democrat side were Jim Brogna with 892 votes, Lauren E. McCurdy with 871, Stacy Haddix with 840, Kimberly Spath with 800 and incumbent Anna Hollock Bibla with 603. Irene Webby retained 471, Tom Stavitzski took in 309, incumbent Bill Jones had 254, incumbent Joseph Kaminski had 253, incumbent William Thomas had 216 and Dan Cornelius earned 207. On the Republican side, Brogna was again top vote getter with 856, followed by Haddix with 795, Spath at 774, Webby, 572, and Hollock Bibla at 561. Stavitzski had 474, Jones 387, Cornelius 331, Thomas 329 and Kaminski 321. Brogna, Haddix, McCurdy and Spath joined forces in their campaign while Cornelius, Webby and Stavitzski ran independently of each other.
