CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — A New Hampshire woman has pleaded guilty in federal court to taking part in a conspiracy to distribute fentanyl.

The U.S. attorney's office says investigators learned in March that 42-year-old Darlene Tirone, of Seabrook, intended to travel from New Hampshire to Massachusetts to buy the drug. Agents saw her arrive in a vehicle and meet with a known drug runner. A state trooper stopped the vehicle and Tirone admitted to concealing fentanyl within her body. She retrieved 44 grams of it.

Investigators say between Feb. 23 and March 14 Tirone ordered about 712 grams of fentanyl from the drug trafficking organization.

She is scheduled to be sentenced on Nov. 28.
