Waupun Police Beat 8-3 to 8-5, 2018
Intoxicated male — Friday at 10:52 p.m., police responded to an intoxicated male in the 200 block of Shaler Drive. Officers spoke with the subject. He was told to stay in his room.
Disorderly conduct — Saturday at 3:45 a.m., police responded to the 500 block of East Main Street for an altercation between a male and a female. The male had left the scene. The female was taken to the hospital with a cut to an eyebrow and a possible broken ankle or leg. The male was possibly en-route to Milwaukee in a vehicle owned by the female subject.
Trespassing — Saturday at 10:02 a.m., police responded to a trespassing complaint in the 100 block of Young Street. An ex-husband was removing items from the residence.
Dog bite — Saturday at 2:27 p.m., police responded to a dog bite complaint in the 200 block of West Franklin Street.
Traffic Accident — Sunday at 4:04 p.m., police responded to a traffic accident in the 500 block of East Brown Street. A vehicle was backed out of a driveway and struck a parked vehicle.
Alarm — Sunday at 5:01 p.m., police responded to an alarm in the 700 block of South Watertown Street. Nothing was found out of place.
Scam — Sunday at 9:34 p.m., police responded to a complaint of a scam. An elderly male in the 200 block of West Main Street got a pop-up to have his computer cleaned. He gave all his credit card info online. The subject was advised to call the card company as soon as possible.
Hit and Run — Sunday at 11:02 p.m., police responded to damaged stop sign in the 800 block of Wilcox Street. The sign had been struck by a semi which then left the scene.
