NorthStar Fitness has new studio, offers exercise variety in Ludington

December 21, 2018

Ludington Spin and Yoga has a new studio downtown and a new name — NorthStar Fitness.

The company, owned by Sara and Dr. Jacob Seng, has been combined with their other business, Ludington CrossFit. Now both are collectively called NorthStar Fitness.

The new spin and yoga studio is located in the former B&M Transmission building, 324 S. James St., and the entrance to the studio is on Foster Street. All the equipment from Ludington Spin and Yoga was transported from its old location at the former PNC Bank, 130 E. Ludington Ave., to the new studio, which shares a parking lot with the CrossFit gym, 311 S. Rath Ave. The CrossFit gym is attached to the Sengs’ Northstar Chiropractic office, where Jacob is also a chiropractor.

In addition to being next to each other, the new studio and the CrossFit gym also have shared membership, so customers can benefit from the classes and equipment at both buildings.

“It’s to create an all-encompassing community, and to give them a better, more well-rounded experience,” Jacob said.
