Jacqueline (Jackie) Marie Adame, 86, of Sun City, Ariz., and formerly of Bradley, passed away Sunday (Dec. 30, 2018) in Sun City West, Ariz.
She was born March 8, 1932, in Bradley, the daughter of Joseph and Lorene Gustin. Her parents preceded her in death.
Jacqueline and Eugene (Gene) Adame were married Oct. 6, 1951, at St. Joseph Church, Bradley. They enjoyed 67 years of marriage together. Gene survives.
Also surviving are her two children, Kevin (Patricia) Adame, of Sun City West, and Kathy (William) Dorris, of Bourbonnais; a sister, Joann (Jerry) Swinford, of Sun City West; five grandchildren, Jodie (Camerino) Adame-Palmerin, of Chandler, Ariz., Ryan (Krystal) Adame, of Queen Creek, Ariz., Nathan (Vanessa) Adame, of Grapevine, Texas, Matthew (Dorinda) Dorris, of Wooster, Ohio, and Joseph (Lindsey) Dorris, of Kankakee; and eight great-grandchildren, Marissa, Miranda, Aiden, McKenzie, Madison, Aubrey, Dylan and Sierra. She also is survived by two step-granddaughters, Erin White, of Kankakee, and Michelle Staden, of Hawthorne, Calif.
Jacqueline sold real estate for McCracken Realty and at the time was a Million Dollar Agent for Life.
She enjoyed spending time with family, vacationing and dancing. She was an excellent tap dancer. Jackie was a graduate of Bradley-Bourbonnais Community High School where she was prom and homecoming queen.
There will be a Mass and celebration of life with family and friends Friday Jan. 4, at Saint Clement of Rome Church in Sun City. Burial will be in Garden of Gethsemane in Sunland Memorial Park, Sun City.
