Wansacz To Lead Scranton Lackawanna Human Development Agency As Executive Director
Jim Wansacz has been appointed the new executive director of the Scranton Lackawanna Human Development Agency, effective July 1.
Wansacz will replace Sam Ceccacci, who is retiring after almost 45 years with the agency. The position paid $120,436 in 2016, according to the tax-exempt agency’s Form 990.
SLHDA board Chairman William Cockerill said Wansacz, who most recently served as the agency’s director of weatherization services, was chosen after a national search that began in January. More than 30 candidates were considered.
A resident of Old Forge, Wansacz is a former member of the state General Assembly and a former Lackawanna County commissioner.
