Drunk woman crashes Jeep into tree; car stolen from apartment lot: Brook Park police blotter

Operating a vehicle under the influence, Donald Drive: A Sagamore Hills woman, 35, was arrested at about 8:45 p.m. Nov. 16 after she crashed her Jeep Wrangler into a tree on Donald.

The woman was drunk. She gave police a fake Pennsylvania driver’s license and refused to reveal her real name. She was not hurt.

Grand theft vehicle, Starlite Drive: A 2009 Nissan Versa was stolen between 7 a.m. and 5:45 p.m. Nov. 15 from the parking lot of Holland Gardens Apartments, 13336 Starlite. The victim said the vehicle had been locked.

Operating a vehicle under the influence, Settlement Acres: A Cleveland man, 60, was arrested at about 1:30 a.m. Nov. 19 after police caught him driving drunk on Settlement Acres.

Police stopped the man’s car because he was driving without headlights. He smelled like alcohol and his speech was slurred.
