MARY LUCILLE MORRIS, of Huntington, W.Va., passed away quietly on Dec. 5, 2018, in Cabell Huntington Hospital. Mary Lucille was born Aug. 24, 1927, in Huntington, W.Va., to the late Roy Fowler and Beulah Garrett Fowler. Mary Lucille was known best as “Nunnie” to her family and friends. She loved her family fiercely and retired after 20 years at Corbin’s Limited. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Drexel Elmo Morris and special friend Ernest Kennedy; son Dale Edward Morris; daughter Tawana Morris; and sister Rosalie Lewis. Survivors include her brothers William Richard Mays, of Kentucky and Howard Mays, of Michigan; her daughters Becky Jane Moore and her husband William Stanley Moore, Barbara Alan Adkins and her husband Larry Ronk, of West Virginia; and a daughter-in-law Gimmie Sue Morris of Ohio; grandchildren Tracy Angelia Adkins, Kerry Ann Blake and her husband Jeff Blake of West Virginia, Jennifer Weinstein, Brad Moore, Erin Moore of Florida, Mathew Dale Morris, Susan Morris, Tassen Johnson of West Virginia, and John Morris of California; great-grandchildren Jared Tyler Wintz, Cali Evan Blake, Abbi Peyton Blake, Sean Weinstein, Elijah Plummer, Jonah Plummer, Rachel Morris and very special friends Alice and Ruthie. Mary Lucille donated her body to the Human Gift Registry at Marshall University School of Medicine.
