Police: Suspect in drug-related shooting slain during holdup
INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Police say a 24-year-old man suspected in a drug-related robbery and shooting at an Indianapolis home was one of two people slain during the holdup.
The Indianapolis Star reports that Robert Lee was found outside the home after Tuesday night’s shooting on the city’s west side. Another man was slain and three others were wounded.
Police said in a statement that four victims were taken to a hospital and the fifth victim walked into a hospital with a gunshot wound.
Police Capt. Harold Turner said at least one of those shot appeared to be a juvenile. An investigation is ongoing.
