DUNEDIN, New Zealand (AP) — The West Indies were 168-2 in their second innings at stumps Thursday, following on 396 runs behind New Zealand on the third day of the first test against the West Indies at the University Oval:


New Zealand 1st Innings: 609-9 (Ross Taylor 217 not out, Brendon McCullum 113, Hamish Rutherford 62, Peter Fulton 61; Tino Best 3-148).

West Indies 1st Innings: 213 (Shivnarine Chanderpaul 76; Tim Southee 4-52, Trent Boult 3-40).

West Indies 2nd Innings: 168-2 (Darren Bravo 72 not out, Kirk Edwards 59).
