MCC to discuss enrollment Monday

SCOTTVILLE — Enrollment is up at the Mason County Central School District, with 32 more students enrolled on the first day of school than at the start of the 2017-18 school year.

The Mason County Central Board of Education Monday will discuss enrollment numbers for the start of the school year, examining trends in enrollment for each class in the district.

This year’s enrollment was 1,281 total students in the MCC school district for the 2018-19 school year — an increase of 32 from last year. The first-day count was the highest since the 2013-14 school year, which saw 1,336 students.
