LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) _ Nicole Kubik had 12 points, five assists and three steals _ all in the first half _ as No. 16 Nebraska used a dominant press to roll past Wyoming 92-41 on Saturday night.

The Cornhuskers (10-3) made short work of the Cowgirls (3-5), who scored only 10 points in the first 14 minutes. Nebraska had 16 first-half steals, most off the aggressive full-court trap.

Nebraska took a 15-5 lead on Anna DeForge’s 3-pointer with 13:35 left in the first half and built a 53-20 halftime lead.

The rout continued in the second half as the Cornhuskers used an 11-0 run to extend the lead to 64-20, prompting coach Nebraska coach Paul Sanderford to pull his starters with 16:23 left.

Kubik and DeForge scored 16 points each for Nebraska.

Courtney Stapp, who had 11 of her team’s 20 first-half points, led Wyoming with 15 points.
