Police, community leaders, taking part in National Night Out
CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — Law enforcement officers, community leaders and residents are taking part in National Night Out events throughout New Hampshire to promote crime and drug and prevention awareness.
One event is taking place Tuesday at Rollins Park in Concord from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
It’s held to strengthen neighborhood spirit, police-community partnerships, and demonstrate a shared commitment for strong and safe communities.
Other events will be going on in communities throughout the state.
National Night Out organizers are expecting over 16,000 communities and 38 million people nationwide to take part in community events on Tuesday.
