The General® Insurance Teams up with Bobby Bones to Launch The General® Jingle Remix Contest

NASHVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sep 6, 2019--

Put your twist on The General Insurance’s jingle for a chance to win a trip to Las Vegas, Nevada to see Bobby Bones & The Raging Idiots perform.

The General® Insurance teamed up with its brand ambassador Bobby Bones to launch The General® Jingle Remix Contest Presented by The Bobby Bones Show. The contest allows fans to put their own spin on The General® Insurance’s iconic jingle – “For a great low rate, you can get online! Go to The General® and save some time!”

From September 3 to September 22, fans can enter the contest by creating their own video showcasing their spin on the jingle, and then register and upload that video on www.thegeneral.com/remix. The winning video will receive a three (3) day, two (2) night trip to Las Vegas to meet Bobby Bones and attend the Bobby Bones & The Raging Idiots performance on November 15 at Reynolds Hall at Smith Center, courtesy of The General® Insurance.

After the contest entry period has ended, each video will be individually reviewed and judged by an experienced panel of music industry veterans; the judges will then select eight (8) videos from the pool of video submissions and fans will vote on their favorites on an online portal at www.thegeneral.com/remix from October 16 to October 25.

The four (4) videos that receive the most fan votes will move to the final round where The Bobby Bones Show cast will select the winner. Bobby Bones and The Bobby Bones Show cast will announce the final winner live on-air the week of October 28.

Bones has also enlisted some of his industry friends who will help him select the winner.
