Israeli Viagra Samples Disappear
JERUSALEM (AP) _ It’s hard to keep a good pill around.
Samples of the Viagra impotence drug disappeared at a meeting of an Israeli parliamentary science committee on Wednesday, embarrassing doctors and other experts who had been called to testify about the drug’s safety.
The theft was discovered when committee chairwoman Dalia Itzik asked if she could keep the box the pills came in, a committee official told The Associated Press on condition of anonymity.
Dr. Ami Sidi, an Israeli expert on impotence, opened the package to empty it before handing it over, and found that only four of the eight pills he had brought were left.
Shortly afterwards, the empty box also disappeared.
