VALDOSTA, Ga. (AP) _ TI Group Automotive Systems plans to close its Valdosta parts plant in July and lay off 105 workers, the company announced Friday.

The plant makes fluid-carrying assemblies for powertrain, air conditioning and heater systems. TI Group, which is based in the United Kingdom, plans to consolidate the Valdosta plant's work into larger factories.

The plant opened in May 1990 and was formerly owned by S&H Engineering and Fabricating, which TI Group bought in 1998.

TI Group Automotive Systems supplies brake and air conditioning fluid carrying components and fuel storage and delivery systems.
