Man accused of fatal Colorado park shooting arrested

July 20, 2019

PUEBLO, Colo. (AP) — A Colorado man accused of shooting a man whose body was found near a children’s softball field faces a first-degree murder charge.

Twenty-four-year-old Emillio Hall was being held without bail. He hadn’t appeared in court and it wasn’t known if he had an attorney.

The Pueblo Chieftain reports the Colorado State Patrol arrested Hall near U.S. Highway 50 in Fremont County on Friday.

Police say 37-year-old Floyd Robinson was shot and killed June 23 at a park in Pueblo.

Witnesses say they saw a person wearing a gray, hooded sweat shirt flee the scene and get into a car that drove off.
