San Antonio man arrested in connection with shooting faces extradition
A man arrested in El Paso will be extradited to Bexar County to face charges related to a recent shooting, according to authorities.
Ralph Lugo, 31, was taken into custody Sunday morning by the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force after being found at an El Paso hotel, the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post.
Lugo faces a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in connection with the shooting of a man and a woman in the parking lot of Von Ormy’s MGM Cabaret strip club on Aug 3, according to the post.
Both the man and the woman were shot in the stomach, the sheriff’s office said at the time. They were taken to Brooke Army Medical Center in stable condition. No update on their condition was available Sunday.
“This case is an ongoing case which is still under investigation,” said deputy Johnny Garcia, a spokesman for the sheriff’s office.
