Hagley, Venoy lead Covenant

HUNTINGTON — Grace Hagley scored 10 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead Covenant (8-2) to a 49-25 victory over South Charleston Christian (6-3) Monday night in girls high school basketball.

Kassie Venoy led the Eagles with 15 points.

Jillian Southall paced South Charleston Christian with 14 points.

CHESAPEAKE 53, SYMMES VALLEY 32: Karli Davis scored 13 points and snared nine rebounds to lead the Panthers (6-7) to a victory over the Vikings in Willow Wood, Ohio.

Corrine Ferguson scored 12 and Blake Anderson 11. Mad-die Ward scored eight points, snagged nine rebounds and issued four assists.

Emily Johnson paced Symmes Valley with 10 points.

Chesapeake returns to action at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at South Point.

Wheelersburg overcame a nine-point deficit.

OAK HILL 69, ROCK HILL 22: Caitlyn Brisker scored 24 as the Oaks routed the Red-women in Oak Hill, Ohio.

Olivia Clarkson scored 14 and Payton Crabtree 10. Ryleigh Morris led Rock Hill with 11 points.
