SALT LAKE CITY _ A new convention hotel in downtown Salt Lake City that is scheduled to open in 2022 would be a 28-story glass skyscraper with rounded edges that would be built on the southeast corner of the convention center grounds, according to preliminary plans city officials are reviewing, The Salt Lake Tribune reports.
