South Side Farmers Market Celebrate 10 Years

May 19, 2019

SCRANTON — The United Neighborhood Centers of Northeastern Pennsylvania’s South Side Farmers Market celebrated 10 years outdoors on Saturday, officials said.

As part of its anniversary, the farmers market moved to the corner of Cedar Avenue and Alder Street, which will remain its home every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. until October 5, officials said.

“We are excited to celebrate ten years serving the community,” farmers market Manager Megan Maslousky said in a statement. “This season will be home to a variety of products, services and events that will expand the market and engage the South Scranton neighborhood and beyond.”
