EUGENE, Ore. (AP) _ Betty Ann Boeving had 19 points and Arianne Boyer added 18 points and seven rebounds to lead Oregon to a 69-60 victory over No. 21 Oregon State Friday night in the final Pacific-10 Conference game for both teams.
Oregon (18-10 overall, 10-8 Pac-10) shot 50 percent for the game in handing Oregon State (19-8, 11-7) its third straight loss. The game drew 9,738 fans, a Pac-10 record for a women’s game.
The Beavers were led by conference scoring leader Tanja Kostic, who finished with 20 points but hit just seven of 21 shots from the field.
Oregon jumped to a 12-8 advantage in the first seven minutes before Oregon State fought back to take its final lead at 26-23 with 3:02 left before halftime.
Oregon State cut an eight-point deficit to three points 48-45 on a driving layup from Boky Vidic with 11:03 to play, before the Ducks regained control and built the margin back to 61-53 with 6:22 to go.
