Sabre: 2Q Earnings Snapshot
SOUTHLAKE, Texas (AP) _ Sabre Corp. (SABR) on Thursday reported second-quarter net income of $27.8 million.
The Southlake, Texas-based company said it had profit of 10 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 24 cents per share.
The results surpassed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 22 cents per share.
The provider of technology services to the travel industry posted revenue of $1 billion in the period, also beating Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $993.8 million.
Sabre expects full-year earnings in the range of 91 cents to $1.05 per share, with revenue in the range of $3.97 billion to $4.05 billion.
Sabre shares have increased almost 9% since the beginning of the year. The stock has dropped 4.5% in the last 12 months.
