MSC Southeast to hold open houses at Red Wing, Winona campuses
WINONA — Both campuses of Minnesota State College Southeast will hold open houses for prospective students in the coming weeks.
The Winona campus open house will be 4-5:30 p.m., Feb. 20.
“We know people can be intimidated about the admissions process, so we want to make it as easy as possible,” said Tammy Vondrasek, director of Admissions and Enrollment. “This is a chance to meet with our instructors and staff one-on-one and see how we can help you reach your goals.”
At the Winona open house, visitors can meet with instructors in various business, trades, technology, and liberal arts programs; tour classrooms and labs; visit the college bookstore and Learning Resource Center; and learn about financial aid and MSC Southeast Foundation scholarships.
Refreshments such as hot dogs, chips, and popcorn will be provided.
The open house at the Red Wing campus will be 4-5:30 p.m., Feb. 27. There, the tour of campus classrooms and labs will include space dedicated to the new Bicycle Design and Fabrication program, the popular Musical Instrument Repair and Building degrees, and nursing.
“The Open House is an opportunity for people to engage with our entire team,” Vondrasek said. “We want to know how we can support you in meeting your goals. We’re here to meet you where you are and help you get to where you want to be.”
