WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. (AP) _ Kevin Finefrock scored 18 points as Rider pulled away in the second half to down Monmouth on Saturday, 63-44.

The Broncs (5-1) broken open a 37-33 game with a run that started at the 12:19 mark of the second half. Greg Burston, who had 10 point, started the run with a pair of free throws and Finefrock canned a 3-pointer that lifted Rider to a 46-35 edge with 8:31 left.

Monmouth (0-6), which shot about 28 percent from the field for the night, came within seven at 46-39 behind Maurice Williams, who led with 12 points. But the Hawks could muster just four point in the final 7:19.

Rider won for the first time since 1993-94 at Boylan Gym.
