Emirati state news agency WAM says Afghan President Ashraf Ghani met Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Tuesday at a palace in the Emirati capital of Abu Dhabi.
The two men discussed ways to deepen bilateral ties, the Emirates’ role in reconstruction and security efforts, as well as the Gulf state’s support for health, educational and infrastructure projects. WAM says they also talked about efforts to combat violence, extremism and terrorism.
