Huntington Police Department investigates multiple property crimes

HUNTINGTON — The following information was provided by police reports from the Huntington Police Department:

The Huntington Police Department listed 14 new incident reports in the 24-hour period ending at 3 p.m. Wednesday, according to the printout released by the department. However, the individual police reports were not made available, so these are the only known details:

Paraphernalia, obstructing/false information to officer/fleeing, warrant service/execution, 3:07 a.m. Wednesday, West 17th Street and Madison Avenue.

Operators/motorcycle, possession of marijuana, 12:56 a.m. Wednesday, unit block of West 7th Avenue.

Prohibition against parking on streets or highways, midnight Wednesday, 600 block of Upper Glendale Avenue.

Intoxicating substances, prohibited acts, 6:14 p.m. Tuesday, 2100 block of 8th Avenue.

Burglary, entry of dwelling or outhouse, midnight Tuesday, 100 block of Pine Street.

Grand larceny, 11 p.m. Friday, 1200 block of 28th Street.

Deceased person, 2:20 p.m. Tuesday, 800 block of 2nd Street.

Forgery/uttering, fraudulent schemes, larceny of bank notes, checks, writings of value and book accounts, 7 a.m. Nov. 14, 2200 block of Washington Avenue rear.

Destruction of property — felony, burglary, entry of dwelling or outhouse, 10:30 a.m. Monday, 100 block of Woodland Drive.

Breaking and entering, midnight Sept. 10, 1300 block of Van Buren Avenue.

Breaking and entering auto, destruction of property — misdemeanor, 9:30 p.m. Monday, 800 block of 4th Avenue.

Petit larceny, breaking and entering, destruction of property — misdemeanor, 10:30 p.m. Monday, 1300 block of Madison Avenue.

Disorderly conduct, 4:19 a.m. Tuesday, 1400 block of 3rd Avenue.

Stolen auto/auto theft, 3 a.m.

Tuesday, 1000 block of 9th Avenue.

The following Information was provided by booking records kept at Western Regional Jail:

Michael Lewis Meadows, 40, was jailed at 3:10 p.m. Tuesday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with grand larceny, receiving/transferring stolen property, and misdemeanors for driving on a revoked license and obstructing. Bond was set at $32,000.

Dyson Lamont Woody, 26, was jailed at 11 p.m. Tuesday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with possession with intent to deliver. Bond was set at $10,000 cash-only.

Samuel Lawton Butler, 51, was jailed at 12:35 p.m. Wednesday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with possession with intent to deliver and conspiracy. Bond was not set.

Jane Marie Shawver, 37, was jailed at 2:50 p.m. Wednesday. Authorities in Kanawha County charged her with grand larceny. Bond was set at $25,000. Authorities in Putnam and Lincoln counties also issued misdemeanor charges; one count of petit larceny was issued in both counties and one count of possession of a controlled substance was issued in Putnam County. Bond was set at $7,500 for the Putnam County charges and $5,000 for the Lincoln County charge.

James Christopher Shawver, 41, was jailed at 2:40 p.m. Wednesday. Authorities in Kanawha County charged him with grand larceny. Bond was set at $25,000. Authorities in Putnam and Lincoln counties also issued misdemeanor charges; one count of petit larceny was issued in each county. Bond was set at $5,000 for the Putnam County charge and $5,000 for the Lincoln County charge.
