NORTH PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) — A store owner in North Providence says she is searching for a man accused of stealing two pairs of designer eyeglasses worth over $1,300.

Steven DiLibero tells WJAR-TV that surveillance video shows a man stealing the glasses on Saturday. DiLibero said he accidentally left the key to the display case in the lock, and he was helping other customers when the unidentified man grabbed a pair of glasses.

DiLibero says the man came back minutes later and grabbed another pair before leaving.

The store owner says police have been given the thief’s license plate. No arrests have been made.
