Richard Paul Bearnson, our dear father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2018, surrounded by his family. Richard was born December 18, 1930 in Spanish Fork, Utah to Robert J. and Dorthy Leifson Bearnson. He attended Spanish Fork schools, graduating from Spanish Fork High School. Immediately following high school, Richard began his service in the U.S. Air Force, serving during the Korean War.

He married Sheron Lee Jensen on September 6, 1968 in Las Vegas Nevada. They are the parents of three children. He enjoyed working on his farm and having his dogs. He also loved to ride horses, raise sheep, and especially enjoyed being with his family.

Following his military service, Richard worked for the Utah Cattlemen’s Association. He was then employed by the Teamsters Union where he helped in building the interstate system in Utah and other states. He retired from the Teamster Union and then worked for Strawberry Water Users Association until he retired.

He is survived by his children, Ed (Brenda) Revoir, Shane (Nicole) Revoir, and Paula (Todd) Wilson; 8 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild, with another on the way. He is also survived by his brother, Robert “Bert” Bearnson.

Richard was preceded in death by his wife, Sheron; his parents; and a sister. Graveside services will be held Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Spanish Fork City Cemetery, 420 South 400 East, Spanish Fork, Utah. Family and friends may visit on Friday evening, October 12, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home, 187 S. Main Street, Spanish Fork, Utah.
